Domi Leones
This is en international trademark of our breeding station. We applied for the trademark in 2003 when our she-dog „Bára“- Aranky od Bucharky
was nominated for breeding.
Origins of our leonberger kennel date back to 1996 when we brought home a puppy which in fact
chose us. DASTIN ABRAXA („Dasty“).
Unfortunately the valuation showed that his eyes are too pale and therefore could not be
classified as a breeding dog.
We did not want him to feel lonely in our human pack, we got him a lady
AILIN ENNDAN
(„Ajka“)in 1997. Her valuation check was not easy
either. She does not have a tooth - P1 so once again she was not granted a
breeding certificate. However, her defect did not prevent her from becoming the
„boss“ of the kennel already in her puberty. She has become the „boss for ever“.
Our third dog, she-dog ARANKA OD BUCHARKY („Bára“) contributed to our kennel in
2000 and unlike Ajka she is a happy dog of Q line. Even though from the
human point of view she is permanently oppressed by „ the boss of the
kennel“, she has become a very pleasure-seeking dog and would do anything
for delicacies such as sponge cakes, rolls etc. And she is the only one
which can have a rest on our day-bed. We often went to exhibitions with her
and despite the fact that she was not excellent at any time, we used to tell
her – before she went into the circle – that she was a star. She evidently
enjoyed it.
Her result in an animal muster was nearly all zeros.
Our latest dog is
„Tomík“- ANTTONI OD MALENOVICKÉHO HRADU.
His mother is Czech and
father is Finnish.
Yet he seems to more like his Belgian
grandfather.
He is a cuddling dog but not a
submissive one. His position in the kennel is also difficult. As he is
growing up, it is more and more difficult for him to respect an old grandpa
Dastin which is seven years older than him. So far he has been respecting
Dastin but when Bára has her days and she is in heat, then the relationship
between the dogs is far from peaceful.
We got all the dogs from a mere pleasure and we were far from planning a big breeding
station. It took us a long time to find a groom for Bára. Perhaps we will be
successful now when Bára has come to like Tomík. They became an excellent
couple and they find it difficult not to be together.
So that was some
information about one half of our human-canine pack. About the canine one.
The other half of the pack is the human one but it would not be very interesting for you and
in fact it belongs only to our dogs.
